Display name and email

Updating how you appear in CueProX and the email tied to your account.

Display name and email

Both your display name and email address are managed from /dashboard/settings. The page is accessible from the dashboard via the ← Dashboard header link in the top-left, or by navigating directly.


Display name

Your display name is how you appear throughout CueProX — in the People panel, message authorship, ticket threads, and anywhere else your identity shows up.

To change it: Edit the text field in the Profile section and click Save. The change is immediate — your session refreshes and you'll see a "Saved!" confirmation. No page reload required.

Minimum 2 characters, maximum 255.

Tip

Short and clear works best. A first name plus last initial ("Sarah J.", "Marcus W.") is enough to identify people quickly in a list during a show. Avoid all-caps or long formal names — they're harder to scan at a glance.

Email address

Your email is used for sign-in, password resets, and support replies from the Helpdesk.

To change it: In the Email address section, enter your new email address and your current password, then submit. Your current email is shown above the field for reference.

Important

There is no "verify your new email" step — the change takes effect immediately when you save. Make sure you type the new address correctly. If you make a typo and then lose your password, you may be locked out of your account. Contact support@cueprox.com if that happens and they can reset your email manually.

After the change:

  • Sign-in requires the new email address immediately
  • Password reset emails go to the new address
  • Helpdesk reply emails go to the new address
