Account deletion and data retention
Removing your account, what gets deleted, and the 30-day grace period after a trial blocks.
Account deletion and data retention
Your account data can be removed in two ways: manually from your settings page, or automatically after a trial expires with no extension approved.
Manual deletion — account owners
Where: /dashboard/settings → Danger zone → Delete account
A confirmation modal opens. Enter your password as a final check and click Delete my account.
What gets permanently deleted (immediately):
- The account itself and all settings
- Every location, room, event, show, cue, team, fixture, and color preset
- All members' access to your account — their user accounts remain, they just lose access to yours
- All tickets, messages, and session history
Warning
Leaving an account — non-owners
If you're a member of someone else's account but not the owner, the same settings page shows "Leave account" instead of "Delete account."
Leaving removes you from all locations and teams in that account. Your user account stays — you can still sign in and use any other account you belong to.
Auto-block on trial expiry
When a Limited Trial or Full Trial ends, your account is automatically blocked the next time you access the dashboard.
What the block looks like: A full lock-out screen — no access to your locations, rooms, or data. But your data is still there.
The 30-day grace period: After auto-block, your account and all its data are retained for 30 days. During this window you can submit a trial extension request (see Requesting a Full Trial). If support approves it, your account unblocks and everything is exactly as you left it.
After 30 days with no approved extension: The account and all data are permanently deleted. No further warning is sent.
