Updating your password from your settings page.
Changing your password
Where: /dashboard/settings → Password section.
The form
Three fields:
- Current password — your existing password, for verification
- New password — minimum 8 characters
- Confirm new password — must match the new password exactly
Click Change password. On success you'll see "Password changed!" and the form clears automatically.
Validation errors
| Situation | Error shown |
|---|---|
| Current password is wrong | "Current password is incorrect." |
| New password under 8 characters | "New password must be at least 8 characters." |
| Confirm doesn't match | "Passwords do not match." |
A note on security
Tip
The 8-character minimum is a floor, not a target. Long passphrases — three or four random words ("thunder roads coffee september") — are stronger than short complex passwords and much easier to remember. Pick something you'll actually still know in six months.
Note
Changing your password doesn't sign out your other active sessions — browsers and devices you're already signed in on continue to work. If you suspect someone else has access to your account, contact support@cueprox.com immediately.
Forgot your password?
