Duplicating and deleting cues

Duplicating a cue

Hover over a cue row and click the (duplicate) icon. A copy is created immediately and placed directly after the original in the same show.

The copy's title gets " (Copy)" appended — "Open in Christ" becomes "Open in Christ (Copy)". Everything else carries over from the original.

What copies

  • Title (with " (Copy)" suffix)
  • Type
  • Timer mode, duration, and target time setting
  • End action
  • BPM, key, and time signature (Live Song cues)
  • Solo assignments

What does not copy

  • Team notes — notes are crew-specific instructions tied to a particular instance of a cue. A duplicated worship song will often need different mix notes, different lighting states, different stage instructions. Copying them verbatim would mean your crew is looking at instructions that may not match this version of the cue.
  • Fixture settings — fixture color assignments are position-specific and may not be right for the duplicate's place in the show.

Note

Re-fill team notes on the duplicate if it needs them. Open the edit form, click each team's tab, and enter the relevant instructions for that instance.

Deleting a cue

Hover over a cue row and click the × (delete) icon. A confirmation modal appears. Confirm and the cue is removed permanently.

Remaining cues in the same show are repositioned automatically — no gaps are left in the order.

There is no undo.

Editing a cue

Hover over a cue row and click the (edit) icon. The same form used to create the cue opens, pre-filled with its current values. All fields are editable except the show assignment.

Changes take effect immediately after saving. If the cue is currently the active cue in a live show, updates to team notes propagate to output screens in real time.
